You won't find anything fancy here, just basic facts on the installation and care of Water Features.
In all of our installations we place primary importance on establishing a natural aquatic environment through the melding of technology and biological science.
In plain English, we expect our ponds to come as close to duplicating their natural counterparts as possible.
We do not advocate the use of chemicals or UV sterilizers to achieve this.
Mother Nature has had millions of years to perfect the ways that a pond is both biologically and ecologically balanced. We set up the parameters and let Her do the detail work. This, in no way, puts any constraints on the size, shape, or overall aesthetic aspects of the pond. Ponds are both relaxing (sit by one for a while and absorb the sights and sounds, and your daily stress will disappear) and fascinating (watching the buzz of animal activity that the pond will attract - the aerial dancing of dragonflies and damselflies, the water striders skating on the surface, the lazy meandering of the fish and, if you're lucky, the ubiquitous frog or two).
We are all a part of Nature's wonderful world! This connection is very basic and our soul demands that it be recognized. This is evidenced by our creation of National Parks, wildlife sanctuaries and Zoos. Even the lonely potted plant in your kitchen window is evidence of this connection.
A Water Feature offers a personal answer to this innate craving. The water, the stone, the plants, the fish all meld together to become your own personal retreat.
